Banner

Ceapot is a HTCPCP implementation written in C. All code currently complies with style(6) from Plan 9's manpages.

What is HTCPCP?

HTCPCP (Hyper Text Coffee Pot Control Protocol) is a joke communication protocol used for controlling, monitoring, and diagnosing coffee pots.
It is specified in RFC 2324 that was published by Larry Masinter on April 1st, 1998 as an April Fools joke.

How to implement HTCPCP?

Building

Run make to build Ceapot, run make install to install to PREFIX (default is /usr, reassign by doing make PREFIX=<insert your prefix here> install).
See make help for all targets.
